Egypt and Japan aim to boost economic ties

Egypt and Japan are preparing to strengthen their economic ties following a virtual meeting between top officials from both countries.
Egypt’s planning and economic development minister held discussions with Japan’s ambassador to Egypt to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
The discussions highlighted the strong relationship between Egypt and Japan, with a focus on key areas like investing in human capital, infrastructure development, and supporting renewable energy for sustainable growth.
Both nations agreed to organize a high-level policy dialogue by the end of August to further solidify their collaboration.
This upcoming dialogue will focus on development cooperation, exploring future projects, and providing technical assistance aligned with Egypt’s 2030 Vision and government priorities.
The initiative aims to deepen economic cooperation and promote shared interests between Egypt and Japan.
