As of 5 July, the euro exceeded the 99-rouble spot since 29 March 2022, and the dollar reached 91 roubles.

Russian banks raised exchange rates further on 24 June, and the dollar beat 90 roubles, while the euro beat 100 roubles at most banks.

Following that, the rouble continued to fall, returning to the exchange rate of more than a year ago.
