The UAE’s economic outlook is strong, with growth expected to reach 3.9%, and inflation to fall to 3.2% by the end of this year, led by steady prices and the fading effects of worldwide imported inflation.
Despite the strong economic outlook, various countries in the region were exposed to elevated global uncertainties, which underpins the need for provincial cooperation efforts and to work with the Fund.
This is to promote fiscal sustainability and manage debt vulnerability, which is a concern, with the possibility of longer-term effects on fiscal balances and disruptions to structural development plans.
