Posted on August 30, 2024 |
Vietnam’s economy is expected to grow by 6.1% in 2024, and by 6.5% in 2025 and 2026, up from 5% in 2023, according to the World Bank.
Growth in 2024 will be supported by a rise in manufactured exports, tourism, and improved consumption and business investment.
Enhancing capital markets will provide essential long-term funding and support Vietnam’s goal to become a high-income country by 2045.
The country saw a 6.42% GDP growth in the first half of this year, the second-highest in the past five years.
This forecast indicates a recovery and positive shift in Vietnam’s economic performance after a tough 2023.
