Australian home prices climbed up for the 2nd straight month in April

Prices nationally grew by 0.5% from March, indicating the collapse of Australian home prices after declining 9.1% from May 2022 to February.

In Sydney, prices grew by 1.3%, while in Melbourne, prices grew by 0.1%.

In most parts of Australia, prices were "stabilizing or growing", signaling a better consumer sentiment, and promoting housing purchases and sales.
