In July, the average US home-sale price grew annually by 1.5%, the first increase in home-sale prices in 5 months.

Since 2022, the average weekly mortgage rates reached the highest level, which brought homebuyers’ monthly payments to a high of $2,627 per month.

New listings fell annually by 27%, the biggest decline since the pandemic and the total number of homes on the market dropped by 14% since March 2022.
