China's 100 cities saw a slight uptick in new home prices in April

In April, prices of new homes in 100 Chinese cities rose slightly as government support measures drove demand in big and midsize cities.

New home prices grew by 0.02% compared to the previous month.

In April, 30 cities saw gains, down from 41 in March. China will support housing demand, secure home delivery and boost the stable development of the property market.

In 2022, the property sector was negatively affected as many developers were unable to finish projects, leading to mortgage sanctions by some buyers.
