Egypt plans to build 14 new cities to solve housing issues

Egypt has built 24 cities to house 32 million people in the past 35 years and is currently preparing to construct 14 additional towns to address ongoing housing shortages.
A total investment of $42 billion was poured into these projects, along with an extra $22.5 billion for urban development.
In the last 9 years, construction efforts gained momentum, leading to the creation of 1.6 million housing units, with an average of 167,000 homes annually.
