Oman signs 80 construction deals worth $483 million

6 agreements were signed for the first phase of Sultan Haitham City, worth more than $182 million (OMR 70 million).

A $215 million (OMR 82.7 million) contract was signed for the 5th package, covering networks for electricity, water, sewage, broadband, and district cooling. Towell Infrastructure Company will finish the project in 24 months.

Sarooj Construction won a $164 million (OMR 63.2 million) contract to build roads, tunnels, and culverts for the 4th package of Sultan Haitham City, to be completed in 30 months.

Al Faniah Oman Company received a $15.6 million (OMR 6 million) contract to build three transformer stations (11/33 kV) in the 6th package, to be finished in 15 months.

A $15.6 million (OMR 6 million) deal was signed to create service stations for the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs’ Al-Birr and Al Ihsan project.

An agreement was made to allocate 8,000 square meters of land for the Security and Safety Services Foundation in Residential District No. 17.

A deal was signed to develop smart city technology in Sultan Haitham City.

Idraak Properties introduced Yanayer Neighborhood (D12), which covers 56,000 square meters with 339 homes, backed by a $100.6 million (OMR 38.7 million) investment. 

Sales also started for Sarooj Oasis Neighborhood (A13) and Al-Wafaa Neighborhood (Phase 2), with investments of $82.1 million (OMR 31.6 million) and $540 million (OMR 208 million), respectively.
