The annual home price growth slowed to 9.8% in October compared to 11.1% in September, the first non-double-digit gain since September 2020.

In October, the annual price growth in the US housing market plunged to single digits when mortgage rates grew over 7% and suffocated demand.

The S&P CoreLogic Case Shiller national home price index grew by 9.2% in October, down from 10.7% in September, which is the first single-digit growth since November 2020.
