Sultan Haitham City in Oman secures over $519 million in contracts for the 1st phase

Six partnership and cooperation agreements were signed for the first phase of Sultan Haitham City, totaling over RO70 million in investments.
An agreement was made to create essential service networks, including electricity, water, sewage, and telecommunications, valued at more than RO82.7 million.
Towell Infrastructure Company will carry out the essential services project within 24 months with assistance from regulatory authorities.
Sarooj Construction Company received a RO63.2 million contract to build main roads, tunnels, and culverts, expected to be finished in 30 months.
A project worth over RO6 million will develop three transformer stations, managed by Al Faniah Oman Company, with a completion time of 15 months.
A memorandum of understanding was signed for land allocation exceeding 8,000 square meters for the Security and Safety Services Foundation in Residential District No. 17, along with a cooperation agreement to establish the smart city technological framework within Sultan Haitham City.
