Sweden's housing market is coping better with the high borrowing costs as in April, the average prices for Swedish apartments grew by 1%, while prices for separate homes were stable, a 3rd straight month of steady or growing prices in both categories.
Housing prices are continuing their fall in Q1, falling by 1.1% from the previous quarter. Prices for single or two-family homes fell by 4%.
The central bank expects that the drop in residential property prices will grow to 20% in the second half of this year.
