US home prices grew annually by 12.4% in Q3 2022

- From Q3 2021 to Q3 2022, US home prices grew by 12.4%, and compared to Q 2022, house prices were up 0.1%.
- The seasonally adjusted monthly index for September grew by 0.1% from August and the South Atlantic division registered the strongest 4-quarter appreciation, posting a 17.0% growth between 2021 Q3 and 2022 Q3.
- However, annual house price appreciation was the weakest in the Pacific division, where prices grew by 8.3% from a year earlier.
