US home prices grew by 4.3% from Q1 2022-2023

In March, US home prices saw an increase, from Q1 2022-Q1 2023, prices grew by 4.3%, and compared to Q4 2022, home prices grew by 0.5%.

From Q1 2022-Q1 2023, home prices grew in 43 states, South Carolina saw an increase of 9.5%, North Carolina 9.4%, Maine up 8.9%, Vermont 8.8%, and in Arkansas, prices grew by 8.8%.

However, in Utah prices fell by 4.3%, in Nevada, prices were down 3.6%, in California, down 2.9%, Washington, down 2.6%; and in the District of Columbia, prices fell by 2.3%.

In the last 4 quarters, 78 of the top 100 biggest metropolitan areas saw an increase in house prices.
