US mortgage rates dip 6.95% in the week ending January 30

The 30-year home loan rate dropped to 6.95%, slightly lower than last week's 6.96%.
A year ago, the 30-year rate stood at 6.63%.
The 15-year home loan rate fell to 6.12%, down from 6.16% last week.
A year ago, the 15-year rate was 5.94%.
