Alberta wildfires hindered Tolko & West Fraser's log harvesting plans

On June 8, West Fraser which operates High Prairie Forest Products, and Tolko's 5-year harvest plans changed after wildfires started on May 4th.
The Grizzly wildfire between High Prairie-Sawn Hills, the Kimiwan wildfire between McLennan-Nampa, and the Nipisi wildfire between Whitefish Lake First Nation-Smith east of the town of Slave Lake is the main fires that significantly contributed to this situation.
