BC declared a new allowable annual cut (AAC) for Mackenzie Timber Supply Area
Posted on May 15, 2023 |
The new AAC for the Mackenzie Timber Supply Area is set at 2.39 million m³.
The earlier AAC was 3 million m³ in 2010 and was changed to 4.5 million m³ in 2014 to handle the outbreak of the mountain pine beetle.
It will be in each of the region’s 37 timber supply areas and 33 tree farm licenses once every 10 years.
