Belarus saw an increase in sawn timber exports in January, marking a substantial rise compared to the previous year.

Over the past year, Belarus recorded nearly a 40% surge in sawn timber exports, mainly targeting "friendly countries" markets.

In January, Belarus exported 85,000 cubic meters of sawn timber, a significant increase from the 63,000 cubic meters exported in the same month last year.

Belarus is actively adopting new forestry technologies to improve timber harvesting and processing, aiming to strengthen its material and technical capacities.
