Brazilian exports of timber products fell by 36% in February

In February, Brazilian exports of timber products fell annually by 36.0% to $264.2 in value compared to February 2022.

Pine sawnwood exports fell also fell by 26.0% to $50.9 million from $68.6 million in February 2022; in volume, exports fell by 15.0% to 215,200 m³.

Tropical sawnwood exports fell by 22.0% to 24,00 m³ from 30,800 m³ in February 2022 but in value terms, exports grew by 2.4% to $12.7 million, in the same period.

The value of wooden furniture exports fell by 36% to $38.6 million compared to February 2022.
