Canada Wood signed agreements with Treezo Group, ECADI, and NCTI-GB to promote mass timber and hybrid construction in China.

Treezo Group, a major producer of OSB, plywood, and prefab buildings, designed a seven-story mass timber office in Hangzhou and plans to build a manufacturing facility to grow its prefab business.

The partnership with Treezo focuses on research, collaborations with Canadian universities, and technical support to incorporate mass timber into their projects.

ECADI, known for iconic projects like the CCTV Headquarters, is now developing tall mass timber buildings and will establish a wood construction innovation center as part of the agreement.

NCTI-GB, backed by China’s housing and science ministries, works to promote green building technologies and reduce carbon emissions in construction.

These agreements highlight Canada Wood’s efforts to support sustainable building and strengthen ties with key players in China.
