Canadian lumber production saw an increase of 17% in January

In January, Canada's lumber production grew monthly by 17.4% to 3,811.5 thousand m³ but annually, it fell by 12.3%.

Sawmills shipped 3,682.6 thousand m³ of lumber, an increase of 9.0% from December 2022 but a drop of 4.5% from January 2022.
