Canadian sawmill production experiences a decline in June

Canadian lumber production fell by 10.9% in June to 3,988.5 thousand cubic meters.

Lumber production was still 3.3% higher than in June of last year.

Sawmill shipments dropped 9.9% in June, totaling 4,081.2 thousand cubic meters.

Shipments were also 2.0% lower than in June 2023.
