Canfor to sell Mackenzie plant for $70 million

- Canfor, McLeod Lake Indian Band, and Tsay Keh Dene Nation plans to work towards a final deal for the sale of the forest tenure and will seek permission from the BC Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations, and Rural Development for the tenure transfer.
- The tenure deal will provide control over resource development actions within their traditional territories to both Nations and this agreement backs ongoing reconciliation efforts and is aligned with the Government of BC’s Intentions Paper.
