Chinese companies increase timber purchases through Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange

From January-July, Chinese firms increased sawn timber purchases via the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) by 2.5 times compared to 2022.

The companies acquired over 195,000 m³ of sawn timber, with 54,000 m³ of the total volume being sold through the target transactions method introduced at BUCE in June.
