Conifex Timber cuts production for 2 weeks at its Mackenzie sawmill due to rail service problems

Conifex Timber Inc. curtailed production at its Mackenzie, British Columbia, sawmill on Tuesday (2-21-23) for up to 2 weeks due to rail transportation challenges.

It will closely monitor its inventory levels and transportation availability over this period as the rail network addresses operational impacts.

The temporary, 2-week curtailment will reduce production capacity by 7 million board feet.
