Conifex Timber Inc. to reduce operations at its Mackenzie, BC, sawmill facility to manage inventory levels

  • Conifex will decrease the operating schedule at the Mackenzie facility to a 1-shift basis from August 29 up to six weeks.
  • The company's rail transportation experienced constant problems and impacted the operations, which forced the company to combine the shift with other interior BC operations to address unsustainable inventory levels.
