Europe’s economic recovery is expected to grow slowly, increasing demand for materials.

The lower Euribor is likely to support construction and development, while inflation could cause wood prices in Estonia to rise slightly in the second quarter.

Construction wood prices are almost 50% lower than in 2022, and general construction material prices have stayed steady for the past year.

From December 2023 to December 2024, spruce log prices in Estonia remained unchanged, while pine and birch prices increased by 2-4%.

In 2024, softwood log prices fell by around 10%, while hardwood log prices dropped by about 20%.
