February sees a surge in Canadian sawmill production and shipments

Lumber production saw a substantial 8.9% increase month-over-month in February, reaching 4,352.4 thousand cubic meters. 

Year-over-year, production also experienced a notable uptick of 10.8%.

Sawmills reported shipping 4,195.4 thousand cubic meters of lumber during the same period, reflecting a month-over-month surge of 7.8% and a robust year-over-year rise of 16.0%.
