Finland saw a 56% drop in timber imports in 2022

In 2022, the volume of timber imports in the country fell by 56% to 5.5 million m³ compared to 2021.
Imports from Russia decreased by 27 due to the set sanctions restrictions; since July 2022, deliveries have ceased.
The deliveries from Estonia grew soared to 23%, from Latvia it rose to 21%, and imports from Sweden grew by 18% to Finland.
