Investments in the Russian timber industry complex grew by 15% in January-September

In the first 3 quarters of 2022, the volume of investments in the domestic forestry complex grew annually by 15.6% to 139 billion rubles, and compared to January-September 2020, capital investments increased by 41.8%.

Half of these investments, which is 47.8%, were directed to the development of the pulp and paper industry; the other half which is 40.8%, belongs to wood processing; and the remaining is taken by logging.

Investments in the furniture industry grew by 3.67% to 5.1 billion rubles.
