January saw a 0.28% decline in the China wood price index

  • In January, the total China wood price index hit 1,256.07 points, which is a  0.28% monthly decrease but is an increase of 5.56% year on year, of which Shanghai Furen Timber index was 1,351.52 points, which is a monthly increase of 0.27% and an annual increase of 7.56% 
  • Guangdong Yuzhu reached 1,142.28 points, which is a 0.47% monthly decline but an increase of 4.80% year on year.
  • Sichuan Daxi’nan reached 1,257.80 points, which is a monthly decline of 29.65 points but up 259.67 points related to year-on-year gains.
