January saw a decline of 32% in Brazilian exports of wood products

In January, Brazilian exports of wood-based products (except pulp and paper) fell by 32.0% to $267.3 million in value compared to January 2022

Pine-sawn wood exports fell by 10% to $44.6 million in value, but in volume, exports grew by 6.5% to 192,400 m³.

Tropical-sawn wood exports fell by 24% to 29,500 m³ and in value terms, exports fell by 0.6% to US$15.7 million.
