July witnesses a 36% YoY decrease in Brazilian wood exports

In July, in value, Brazilian exports of timber-based products (except pulp and paper) fell by 36.0% to $278.0 million compared to July 2022.

Tropical-sawn wood exports fell by 42.0% to 26,400 m³ in July 2023 and in value, exports fell by 34.0% to $13.4 million.

The value of wooden furniture exports fell by 18% to $47.5 million in July 2023.
