Koskisen, a Finnish wood processing company with over 100 years of experience, has started an investment program to improve plywood production at its Järvelä mill.

The company plans to increase production capacity, simplify operations, enhance internal logistics, and introduce automation in several production stages.

This investment program will continue until the end of 2027 as part of Koskisen's long-term strategy.

The first phase, set for 2025, will focus on improving veneer production, with an estimated investment of EUR 12 million.

The Järvelä mill produces high-quality birch plywood used in transport vehicles, die-cutting tools, interior design, and furniture.

Koskisen supplies industries such as automotive, transportation, construction, and furniture.
