Lumber production in Canada grew by 1.9% in September

In September 2022, Canada's lumber production grew by 1.9% to 4,341.8 thousand cubic meters from August 2022 but, production was down year-over-year by 6.1%.
In September, sawmills shipped 4,302.8 thousand cubic meters of lumber, which is a decline of 3.7% compared to August 2022 and 8.5% compared to September 2021.
