Metsä Group concludes discussions regarding the closure of its Merikarvia sawmill in Finland.

The decision was reached to cease operations by the end of June.

The Merikarvia sawmill boasts an annual production capacity of 220,000 m³ of pine-sawn timber.

Approximately 455,000 m³ of wood is used annually by the sawmill.
