New Allowable Annual Cut (AAC) on British Columbia’s Tree Farm License 8 reduced by 14%

- The new AAC for TFL 8 held by the Interfor Corporation, in the Interior region is 158,400 cubic meters with 131,500 cubic meters harvested from the terrain of less than 45% slope to assure sustainability in low slope areas.
- The new AAC is a deduction of 14.8% from the last AAC of 186,000 cubic meters, which was set in 2009, and is responsible for management measures that address Indigenous interests and the collection of unharvested volume in the TFL.
