November saw a 41.1% increase in the softwood lumber imports volume to Japan

  • In November, the volume of softwood lumber imports to Japan grew by 41.1% to 444.9 thousand m³ compared to 2020.
  • The price of imports also increased by 179.3% to $303.1 million and the average price of softwood lumber grew by 98.0% to $681.3 per m³.
