Peruvian exports of wood-building products to US fell by 34% from January-November 2022

From January-November 2022, Peruvian exports of wood products for construction fell annually by 345 to $3.9 million due to lower demand for building materials from Peru in the United States.

The maximum export item was wood building products and construction goods, which accounted for 55% of the total supply. 

However, wood supplies to France soared to $0.5 million, and to Chile and Mexico, supplies fell to $0.3 million and $0.2 million respectively.

Wood products exports to the Netherlands reached $0.15 million, Jamaica $0.12 million, Honduras $0.10 million, as well as Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Belgium.
