Rosstat recorded an increase in woodworking production in January

- Lumber production grew by 102.3% to 2.1 million m³ from January 2021 and 87.1% from December 2021.
- Wood-fuel pellets production increased by 113.6% to 204 thousand tons from January 2021 and grew by 97.3% from December 2021, plywood production by 96.8% to 345 thousand m³ and rose by 91.5% from December 2021
- Fiberboard production rose by 107.3% to 62.5 million m², EAF production grew by 105.9% to 952 thousand m³ from January 2021.
- Compared to January 2021, wooden windows and window frames production saw an increase of 118.4% to 41.6 thousand m², wooden doors, and door frames saw an increase of 115.6% to 1.3 million m³.
