Russia increased plywood exports to the U.S. by 44% in July

- In July, Russian plywood exports to the U.S. grew by 44% compared to the previous month but still accounted for only one-third of the volume compared to July last year.
- However, U.S. hardwood plywood imports fell by 8% to 271.7 thousand m³ in the same period, the smallest since April 2021 and 10.5% less than in July 2021.
- Imports from Malaysia also fell by 78% to their lowest level since November 2017, while imports from Cambodia, Vietnam, and Ecuador also dropped by over 10%.
