Russia saw a decline of 9.6% in woodworking production in January-September

- From January-September, domestic woodworking companies decreased production by 9.6%, which concerns the production of sawn timber, plywood, wooden windows, chipboard, and fiberboard.
- The volume of plywood production in Russia fell by 25.6% to 2.6 million m³, and veneer by 23.6% to 1.2 million m³.
- Sawn wood production also fell by 7.5% to 22.5 million m³, chipboard production decreased by 9.8% to 7.7 million m³, and fiberboard production by 5% to 518 million m³.
