Russian wood pulp export down 11.5% in 2021

  • In 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia fell by 11.5% year-on-year to 2.042 million tons, but the value of foreign supplies rose 31.1% to $1.312 billion.
  • Newsprint exports declined 13.2% year-on-year to 922,100 tonnes but value increased by 12.3% to $405.4 million.
