Russia’s Udmurtia cut off timber exports to China from January to July 2022

  • From January-July 2022, Udmurtia reduced the export of timber products to China as in the first 7 months of 2021 the region exported 20.04 thousand m³ of wood to China, then in 2022, this figure dropped to 14.48 thousand m³.
  • The volume of supplies includes industrial birch timber, sawn timber, veneer, and other forest products.
