Segezha Group extended the reforestation area by 20% in 2021

- Segezha Group between May and November 2021, restored a total of 34,835 ha of forest lands, which include Krasnoyarsk Krai (15,800 ha), Karelia Republic (8,200 ha), Vologda (5,100 ha), Arkhangelsk (4,300 ha), and Kirov (1,300 ha).
- In 2021, the Segezha Group spent more than 140 million rubles on deforestation projects and restored 20% more land than the 2020 figures above.
- In April 2022, Segezha will invest over RUB 70 million ($939,400) to plant the first seeds in Kostroma Region to produce ball-rooted seedlings in-house to fully satisfy the demand for reforestation operations in European Russia with a production volume of 4 million seedlings per year.
