September saw a drop of 24% in Brazilian wood-based product exports

In September, Brazil's earnings from exporting wood-based products (excluding paper) fell by 24%.

The volume of tropical sawn-wood exports fell by 25%, going from 30,800 m³ in September 2022 to 23,000 m³ in September 2023.

The value of wooden furniture exports also experienced a decrease, going from $53.8 million in September 2022 to $47.0 million in September 2023, marking a 13% decline.
