Posted on January 17, 2023   |

Skeena Sawmills stopped receiving logs at its Terrace, BC, sawmill facility on January 6, 2023, and the log intake prohibition is scheduled to last 3 weeks.

The reopening of the log scales will be considered at the end of the month which will be dependent on better economic conditions.

However, the mill will continue to produce lumber, and chipping operations will also continue while the sawmill operations will continue to operate.
