Södra raises rates for Spruce and Pine timber
Posted on October 16, 2023 |
In response to strong demand from family forestry, Södra has implemented an immediate price increase for spruce and pine timber.
This price adjustment is aimed at ensuring a consistent supply of raw materials during late autumn and winter, taking into account potential forest capacity challenges.
As of October 9th, the changes in pricing include a SEK 30/m³fub increase for standard spruce and pine timber.
Fuel wood prices have also seen a rise of SEK 20/m³fub.
Södra's prompt action underscores their dedication to meeting the growing demand for forest resources.
