Stability back in UK lumber supply chain as imports rose 28% since January

- The volume of timber imported between January and October 2021 grew by 28% to 10.3 million m3 in the year to date than the same period in 2020.
- In October 2021, softwood import volumes reached 557,000 m3 in the UK which is close to the average volume of softwood imports seen between 2015 to 2018 (559,000m3), showing stability in the supply chain.
