- Stora Enso launched its new manufacturing site for the production of cross-laminated timber (CLT) in Ždírec, which fully supports Stora Enso’s strategy of growth within wooden building solutions.
- Stora Enso’s CLT production capacity will increase to fulfill the high demand for sustainable, cost-effective, and renewable building materials.
- In 2020, Stora Enso invested EUR 79 million in the new CLT project, which began production on time in 2022 Q3, and the site will have an annual production capacity of 120,000 m³, upon full operation.
